Every single listing is reviewed manually, sellers can verify their identity with a passport or driving licence, and our AI tools help you along the way — from questions about health and pedigree to a buying agent that monitors the market for you. The platform is run from Copenhagen.

Yes. The Basic listing is free, stays online for 30 days, and you can create as many free listings as you like. If you want more visibility, you can buy a Premium or Exclusive package for an individual listing.

Every listing is reviewed manually by our team before it goes public. We check photos, video, description and the horse passport, and you are notified as soon as the listing is approved. If it is rejected, you can fix what we flagged and submit it again.

Your listing must include at least 3 clear photos or videos of the horse, a legible photo of the horse passport with the UELN/ID number visible, and a description that gives a realistic picture of the horse. Photos watermarked by other websites, as well as AI-generated or heavily edited images, are not accepted.

Basic is free and runs for 30 days. Premium costs EUR 20 (DKK 149) for 60 days, is prioritised in search results and is automatically bumped back to the top every 15 days. Exclusive costs EUR 55 (DKK 399) for 90 days, sits at the top of all search results, carries an Exclusive badge and is bumped to the top every 10 days.

No. If you sell through a listing on the marketplace, you only pay for the listing package — we take no share of the sale price. The only place we charge a fee on a sale is our discreet sale service, where 5% of the agreed price is due once the sale is completed.

The amount is authorised on your card when you create the listing, but only captured once the listing has been manually approved. If the listing is rejected, the authorisation is released and you pay nothing.

Yes. All payments are handled encrypted by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment providers. Your card details never pass through our own servers — we can neither see nor store your card number.

Recurring subscriptions are temporarily paused and are not offered to new users — right now you buy Premium and Exclusive per listing. If you already have an active subscription it continues unchanged, and you can cancel it with one click in your settings. You keep access until the end of the paid period.

EquineChat is an AI horse advisor you can ask around the clock about health, training, pedigree, stable management and horse trading. It searches current sources rather than relying only on older training data. Answers are guidance only and do not replace a vet, lawyer or other professional.

EquineChat is free. You can ask up to 20 questions per 24 hours — the limit keeps the feature free for everyone and resets automatically after 24 hours. If you have an active Premium or Exclusive listing, you get unlimited access.

The Buying Agent monitors the market for you. You set your criteria — discipline and level, breed, sex, age, height, temperament, colour, geographic area and maximum budget — and get an email as soon as a horse matches. It is free, and you can run several agents at once.

Verification is our strongest defence against fraud. Identity is confirmed through Stripe Identity, and your ID documents go straight to Stripe — Next Equine does not store them. We may also ask you to confirm your phone number. Verified sellers come across as more trustworthy to serious buyers.

"Verified seller" means the seller's identity has been confirmed with valid ID. "Verified horse" means the seller has uploaded documentation from the horse's passport. The badges say something about the documentation — not about the horse's health or condition.

Yes. Every single listing is approved manually before it goes live. We use both AI and manual review to validate horse passports and identity documents, and we analyse technical metadata to catch suspicious behaviour before it reaches other users.

Use "Report" on the listing or in the conversation, or write to us at contact@nextequine.com. We investigate every report within 24 hours. You can also block a user so you no longer receive messages from them.

No. You will find dressage horses, show jumpers, eventers, western, endurance, driving, gaited horses such as Icelandics, trail horses and ponies — 85 breeds in total. The filters let you narrow by discipline and level, breed, sex, age, height, temperament, colour, country and price.

A discreet sale is for sellers who want to sell without a public listing. You fill in a short form and we match your horse with buyers in our network. It is free to use, and you only pay on a completed sale: a brokerage fee of 5% of the agreed sale price. If the horse does not sell, you pay nothing. Discreet sales are currently offered only for horses located in Denmark.

Yes. Register your search criteria as a buyer and we will contact you if a horse in our network matches. Registration is free and non-binding — it gives no priority, exclusivity or guarantee of being contacted.

No. We put buyer and seller in touch, but we are never a party to the purchase agreement, and we do not guarantee the horse's health, condition or legal status. We always recommend a pre-purchase veterinary examination and a written purchase contract before closing a deal.

You can request deletion in your settings. The profile is deactivated immediately and your data is permanently deleted after 30 days. Information about paid services is kept for 5 years as required by Danish bookkeeping law.

You generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services, but it lapses once you start using the service. If you bought something by mistake and have not yet used it, contact us within 14 days. If your listing is rejected during review, you are never charged.
